Safety, Environment and Quality Policy
Petrolift has always valued a good sense of corporate
responsibility and this has guided many a business
decision. All of the Petrolift vessels were manufactured
under the strictest standards and the fleet is actually
leading the industry charge towards double-hulling to
achieve the maximum standard of safety for all clients
and all the territories visited both in the Philippines and
abroad.
All vessels have been issued Safety Management Certificates
(SMC) by Det Norske Veritas, one of the world’s
leading classification societies and a member of the
International Association of Classification Societies or
the Philippine Registry of Shipping – another testament
of the Group’s commitment to safety. The SMC is documentary
proof of a vessel’s compliance with the International
Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships
and for Pollution Prevention (ISM Code).
Petrolift Group’s petroleum tanker barges enjoy high
utilization because they can be used both for river and
coastwise trade and can approach depots with shallow
drafts that are inaccessible to most other tankers.
